The Peace Studies Program at the University of Maine has adopted The Comic Book Creators' Party website into its curriculum. The Brave Spirit for America and Bold Hope for the World are now being studied as part of the university's curriculum on advancing world peace by utilizing appropriate entertainment and communications tools inherent in popular culture.

The University of Maine Peace Studies Program focuses on education for peace, justice, human rights, nonviolence, tolerance, global understanding, interdependence and mutuality, and environmental responsibility. Through its academic studies and various educational, research and outreach programs, Peace Studies infuses concerns for peace and the practice of transformative conflict resolution into the UMaine campus and community. The Peace Studies Program joins with the people of Maine in creating cultures of peace in our state, nation, and world.
