I came up with the name for this blog from an eBay auction that went awry. I won an auction for a baseball card that was advertised as being in mint condition. That meant that it was free of flaws and/or defects. When I got it in the mail, I noticed that it wasn’t in mint condition. One of the corners was dinged up. It was bent. I tried getting a refund from the seller, but he was being an ass about it. This all transpired just around the time I started thinking about creating a blog. I decided to make something positive out of something I felt was negative. Hence the name BENT CORNER.
