It's been a little more than 4 months since I took another journey into the Israeli outdoors and suspended activity here. Another in a series of such trips where I cultivate a growing circle of like-minded individuals who've also taken a step away from the hustle and bustle, perhaps in exploration of a more meaningful statement to make, some peace of mind... or maybe even in search of a greater truth in their lives.
Though we know that by doing so, we relinquish many of the comforts of modern life, it's also true that such comforts carry a heavy price for most of us today. What is unquestionable is that not only do we survive this state of material seclusion, but that we also emerge all the wiser and stronger from the experience.
Without delving into the reasons why I'm back on the web at this time, or what the road ahead might hold, I sense that we'll have enough time together here to perhaps bring some new and refreshing content through this web site. With this in mind, I hope to elaborate a little more on this last journey and the long-term implications it might hold.
Unlike the articles that mostly quoted other sources, which the site was known for before, my intention for the coming period is for more original and overtly opinionated content. A continued comments activity from the readers will remain a good catalyst for exploring such content - and a welcomed venue for interaction between us.

The above photo was sent to me recently by Holger Wahl, from Germany. Holger is one of the many tourists who visited a place I frequent during these trips, the Ein Gedi Dead Sea beach and rest stop. We engaged in some rather good conversation and he photographed me as I began drawing a portrait of his wife, for him to take back home to her.
A special thanks to Clifford, Tim, Daniel, Steven, Moshe and all the rest who sent best wishes for a good journey. The list of people who emailed me privately upon seeing the announcement here is extensive and quite heartwarming.
I know it'll take some time before we liven things up here again, so please do help me get the word out...
The ReVOLUTION is back!
For the near foreseeable future, at least.
