THE LAST TESTAMENT
English Translation of the Original Hebrew Manuscript
It came to be in the second year of the Carter presidency over the United States in the first month and on the first day of the month I was by the bank of the river Hudson in the New York and I saw the shame of the exile of the people of God and the contempt of the fall of man from the Garden of Eden of God. And I fell to my face and asked for mercy and salvation from the Lord God the mover of the heavens and the earth. And God spoke unto me and said: Stand up Michael. And I stood up unto my feet and I said: Here I am. And he said unto me: From the time that I spread the heavens and the earth I have named you Michael Netzer a sprout of the root of David the son of Abraham the father of Israel my first born and in you I shall raise my messenger and my faithful for the time of the end of days. And I fell to the ground on the bank of the river and I said: Why through me my Lord for I am as if I am not? And he said unto me: You shall be what I make of you Michael stand up. And I stood up onto my feet again and God said unto me: I have established my covenant with Abraham and I have made him unto a great nation and I have given unto his seed the land of their dwelling to Yitzhak to Yaackov Israel. A nation blessed from amongst the nations. And I have sent unto them my servant Moses and my prophets and I have straightened their path until the fulfillment of the works of the days of creation and the gathering of the dispersed of my children from amongst the nations and the gathering together of the scattered nations unto my house and my Garden of Eden. And I have prepared all this for the time of the end of days and in you I shall give the sign of the harvest. And my strength was departed from me and I fell to the ground and I cried bitterly over the abyss of the spirit of my people and over the depth of the fall of mankind and I raised my voice to the God of the heavens and the earth and I said: How can this be through me my Lord and my people have not known me? And God said unto me: Michael stand up for there is yet a time and times and half a time until the beginning of the end and who puts wisdom into the heart of Israel and man.
And I stood up standing and I lifted my eyes and behold a magnificent eagle sailed upon the face of the earth and its wings were spread over the entire face of the waters and its head was turned into the four winds of the heavens. And God lifted me up unto the wings of the magnificent eagle and showed me all of the kingdoms of the earth and the dispersal of the nations of the dust of the ground into the lands of the armies of their dwellings. And God spoke unto me and said: From One I have divided three great peoples amongst the nations Shem and Kham and Yefet and from three the seventy nations of the world. Here behold the seventy nations and I have gathered them together again unto three. Shem who is Israel my first born and the first of my strength. Yefet who is great in mercy for I have remembered the mercy of his youth for he had covered his father's nakedness and I have given him a great prince of my first born Israel, Yehoshua the father of the Christian nation. And Kham who is hot blooded and hot tempered and hot in filth who had uncovered his father's nakedness. He is Kham the father of K'naan cursed among the nations the father of Egypt the father of Hagar the mother of Yishmael the father of the Arab peoples and the Moslem nation. A nation cursed. By its own blood has it felled many and by its own blood shall it fall.
And the magnificent eagle arose and carried me into the mountains of the great Pacific sea and God showed me the entire kingdom of the children of Yefet and God spoke unto me and said: Thus shall you say unto the priests of the Christian nation: A faithful prince have I given unto you from the seed of my servant David and he is faithful unto my commandments until the day of his death. And I have raised him unto you a prince and you did not hearken unto his words which I have put into his mouth. An old testament and a new testament you have declared. Would you deceive me the Lord of the armies of Israel to say: Israel is old and we are new? Thieves have I driven out from my holy temple by the hands of your prince and you have established thieves within your churches. You have placed statues and images in your houses of prayer and I did not know you. You have persecuted the poor and the widowed and you did not know mercy and love as I have commanded you. What shall I do to rebellious children such as you. I shall utterly break you and your churches and I shall grind your bones within the waters of your idols. I shall cast you down into the dust and with a spirit of justice shall I scatter your remains into the four winds of the earth. And I the Lord God of Israel, I myself and no other, shall come and gather my scattered and my faithful and my beloved from amongst you and I shall bring them into my house of supplication which dwells between the shoulders of my holy mountain Yerushalaym the house of my dwelling. And God said unto me: Michael stand up and write all of these things in letters and images that I will put into your hands for I have bestowed beauty unto Yefet and he has loved the arts. And I stood up and I wrote and made images as God had shown me and he said unto me: Send the message unto the priests of the sons of Yefet. And I sojourned the lands of the Christians and I sent the message.
And I stood on the shore of the eastern sea of the United States and behold the magnificent eagle sailed eastward on the face of the waters. And God raised me unto it and brought me into the mountain of Lebanon and showed me the entire kingdom of the children of Kham and their iniquity. And God said unto me: A prince from my children I did not give them because they are a cursed nation. And I have sent my words unto them through their prophet and he did not hear me and they did not know me. I have made them last and they have rebelled against me and in their heart they have stolen my first born's rights and with the sword they have killed the righteous. Yishmael was bound and not Yitzhak they declared. My holy mountain they have stolen for Islam. Destruction and desolation they have caused. Lies and evil they have spread about. Blood and death they have brought forth. Their father Kham did not hear me and the Arab nations will not see me. I shall utterly destroy their palaces and I shall widely scatter their leaders. I shall grind their flesh until it is thin and they shall drink all that remains of the waters of their filth and they shall eat the bones of their children. I shall cast down their pride and I shall disgrace their honor. They shall walk naked throughout their deserts because they are the most deceptive amongst the nations. I shall shatter their dwellings and I shall destroy the borders of their nations and I shall burn their idols. I shall make them as slaves within their own houses and my first born Israel shall they serve. And God said unto me: Michael stand up and write these sayings and I stood up and I wrote.
And I lifted my eyes and behold an army of lions pranced amongst the cedars and it covered all of the mountains of Lebanon and at their head was a great lion and his eyes were to the heavens and his heart was the heart of a man. And God lifted me up into the midst of the shoulders of the lion and brought me southward towards the land of the dwelling of Israel Be'er-Sheba Revivim a faction of the people of God. And I fell to my face unto the ground and I raised my voice and I asked for mercy and I pleaded to the God of Israel for his goodness because factions and factions had divided asunder the heart of the first born nation. And God said unto me: Michael stand up and I stood up and he lifted me up again into the midst of the shoulders of the great lion and he showed me all of the settlements of the people in Israel settlements and settlements according to their factions. And he brought me unto the portion of the fathers in Hebron and bound my spirit to the spirit of my people in Nazareth. And he brought me to Beit-El Ofra and planted me in the portion of the land of the fathers and God said unto me: Dwell amongst your people because there are yet times and half a time until the beginning of the end and I the God of Israel shall raise a seed unto you amongst your people and at the time of half a time until the beginning of the end, you Michael shall stand up to stand for the children of your people.
And it came to be on the day of the gathering of the people in Israel for the renewal of the covenant with the government of Sharon. And I walked through the deserts of the land and I fell to the ground unto my face and pleaded to God because of the time of trouble that God has brought unto the people in Israel. And God the creator of the heavens and the earth called unto me saying: Michael stand up. And I stood up and behold the fountains of the heavens were opened and I lifted my eyes and a magnificent sight filled all of the heavens and the chariots of the God of the armies of Israel sailed upon the entire face of the waters. And God lifted me up unto the chariot and showed me all of the kingdoms of the earth and the ladder and the mountain of the covenant rising towards the kingdom of heaven. And he brought me into the garden of the witness of God at Ein-Gedi and behold the angels and the flaming sword which turned every which way and kept the way of the tree of life. And God said unto me: Put forth your hand unto the flaming sword which turned every which way. And I put forth my hand and behold the sword stood within my hand and was turned into a staff within my hand. And God said unto me: Behold I have given into your hand the way of the tree of life because there is yet a half a time until the beginning of the end of the kingdoms of the earth. And God led me and I walked with God in his Garden of Eden for forty days and forty nights.
And God spoke unto me from within the midst of the Garden and he said unto me: A stiff necked people have I fashioned and unto my words they have not hearkened. Rebellious children have I raised and my commandments they have not remembered. Behold phylacteries and prayers they have declared but in their hearts they did not worship me. Edicts upon edicts they have murmured and lessons upon lessons they have memorized and lies from their throats they have orated. Am I a God of bribery? Do I not search the hearts and do I not know the secrets of men? Woe unto a withered and unwise people who have chosen the paths of death for they have said: God has deserted us and there is no judge on the earth. Will they connive me the connivers of the dispersed to say: Tassels are the commandment and the remembrance is forgotten? Will they deceive me the rabbis of a fallen nation to say: Our sacrilege is holy and gods of silver and gold and glory are in their hearts and they did not know the sanctity of my ways? A light I have given unto them in the teachings of Moses on Mount Sinai and they did not love the light. With silver and gold did they cover the light until darkness is in their hearts and the light is no longer. Commandments of mercy and goodness have I given them and they have separated meat and milk, mercy and goodness were vanquished. Charity and charity they have declared and the poor and widowed they have disgraced. A holy pride is in their hearts day and night. A high heart they have inflated. A place for my love in their heart they have not kept. My house within them they have shut out. Woe unto a pompous nation my children in your rebellion against me. Did I not destroy your temples? Shall I have pity on your synagogues? What shall I do unto an unwise people at the rise of the cry of iniquity unto me. A time of trouble shall I bring unto you because of the works of trouble which you have chosen. The rise of the iniquity is ended and the days of anger and judgment have arrived and who shall stand?
And I heard all of these things and I fell to my face within the midst of the Garden and I mourned because of the time of trouble and I pleaded unto God and I asked for my soul to die because of the trouble and that the fury of the judgment would pass over my people. And God called unto me saying: Michael stand up and I stood up and God said unto me: Write all of these things in the book of The Last Testament and send it unto the heads of the communities in Israel and unto the heads of the priests of the rabbinates in their dispersal and they shall not hearken unto you nor shall they believe. But have no fear and let not your heart be bitter for I the Lord God the creator of the heavens and the earth have placed you a prince over my holy people and over all of the nations of the lands. Arise Michael and stand up and prophecy unto the people who sleep the slumber of Zion because the time of the end has come. Stand up Michael. Take your staff in your hand and arise and walk through the land of your fathers to the length of the land and to its breadth and I shall gather unto you my dispersed and my faithful and my beloved from the four corners of the world and I shall guard you in your journey until the end of the desolation.
